About Us.
Zephyr is a nonprofit running club based in Singapore, built to bring runners together and push each other forward. We’re all about community, growth, and a shared love for running.
Started in 2021 by two passionate runners—Charles Yang and Glen Tan—Zephyr began as a small group meeting at West Coast Park. What started as casual runs quickly grew into something bigger. By 2025, Zephyr had grown into a 500-strong team, lovingly known as the “Coconuts”—a group driven by support, ambition, and pure joy for the sport.
More than just a club, Zephyr is a nonprofit organization that gives back. We use running to fuel charity efforts and make a real difference in the local community.

Train with Us
At Zephyr Running Club, we conduct structured training sessions on a weekly basis. We meet across Singapore’s best running spots, mixing up scenic CBD loops, intense track work, and long distance coastal runs. Whether you're here to chase a PB, build endurance, or just stay healthy and fit, we’ve got you covered.
Weekly Sessions and Locations:
Monday 6:30 PM | Tempo Run
Start Point: Red Dot Design Museum, 018940
Distance: 12–14km
Scenic evening route from Red Dot to Marina Barrage, East Coast Park, the Stadium, and back.
Wednesday 6:30 PM | Interval Run
Location: MOE Track & Field, Botanic Gardens, 259366
Distance: Around 10–12km total
Structured interval training to build speed, strength, and race-day grit.
Saturday 6:00 PM | Long Run
Rotating Locations:
East Coast Park, Parkland Green, 449875
West Coast Park, 12684
Distance: 20–30km
Easy-paced long runs to build endurance and mental strength.
For each session, we have different pace groups to accommodate runners of all levels, from beginners to experienced athletes.

I’m a beginner, can I still join?
Absolutely. It’s not about how fast you are — it’s about showing up. Whether you’re a 4:00/km speedster or a 7:00/km jogger, we have pacer groups for every level.
What do I need to bring for training?

Comfortable sportswear & running shoes

A soft water bottle / flask (We’ve got hydration & electrolytes covered —plus some surprises along the way!)
Is there bag storage at the meeting points?
Yes, volunteers will keep an eye on bags, but we highly recommend keeping valuables with you.
Is there a membership fee?
No. Zephyr is a nonprofit running club — there are no fees involved.
What are the basic club rules?
Run at least 50km per month (Stay active, no slacking! )
Join in-person training (Bond with the “Coconuts ” & make running fun ;)
Volunteer at least once a year (We’re a community built on care & support —give back and be part of something bigger)
